The herbal products listed below, though diverse in function, strength, and effectiveness, all have the following in common: they are based on old medicinal formulas, devised by indigenous peoples through the Western Amazonia (deep Amazon Basin), which have been carefully studied, refined, and packaged by native physicians in South America working directly with indigenous peoples of the deep Amazonia.

We have worked closely with our native physicians to ensure that the exact methodologies used by native peoples of the region are faithfully transferred when employing our own Western production techniques. We do this primarily so that traditional methods that produce consistent, predictable results for safety and efficacy are not disrupted.

Many of the formulas below are older than the entirety of Western Medicine, having been passed on from one generation to the next for hundreds of years. Some of these herbals have not yet been botanically classified, particularly those from the Amazon in Ecuador. If classified, we provide the Latin names; otherwise, we provide names which are, in English, the phonetical equivalent of the original name(s) used by the tribe or tribes with which we are working.

Peru

The following formulas are all based on traditional herb formulas from indigenous people in the Peruvian Amazon. We provide links to work we have done in conjunction with Western doctors that provide modern medicinal legitimacy to the claims of the native groups that we work with. The table below provides the botanically active components of each formula, the parts used, how our product is packaged, and other useful links. All of these formulas are herbal extract concentrates (except for the Kidney Cleanse). Not only were they made in strict adherence to traditional processing protocols (which we chose because we did not wish to interfere with the efficacy of the products as they are), but each herbal was filtered to one micron. They are, by all reports we have been able to obtain, every bit as effective as those made by the indigenous groups from which they came.

Brazil

The formulas below come from various regions of the Amazon Basin in Brazil. The names chosen for each formula are based on the traditional use of each, matched with corresponding ailments as they are recognized in the West. This should not be taken to infer that Alpha Omega Labs is offering any of these formulas as a cure or treatment. About the formulas: Virtually, all formulas in this group are in capsule form, 120 capsules to the bottle. The exception is the "Mycoplasia" formula, which is a liquid extract. With so many formulas in the same packaging format, we do not include a "size" or packaging description in the table below. Additionally, for ingredients, we supply the most common name used by herbalists familiar with the botanical traditions of this region. Mycoplasia Traditional: Used to treat conditions caused by Mycoplasma ("mycoplasia"). This is the only one of our Brazilian formulas that is a liquid extract (2 fl. oz.)
